Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Writers will be expected to develop content to include, but not limited to local and national community events and feature stories.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Junior/Senior in Communications/Journalism
  • Creative thinking and ability to work with a sense of urgency is required
  • Must be capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Must possess excellent writing and communication skills
  • Flexible schedule to include working nights and weekends (20hrs per week)
  • Must be proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
  • Eager to learn
  • Problem solving skills
